About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation operating within a highly regulated and safety-critical environment, we are currently recruiting for a IT Support Administrator to support their multi-site IT operations across the Essex and Hertfordshire area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT support professional to join a fast-paced, hands-on environment, supporting users across multiple locations and contributing to ongoing system improvements and IT projects.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first and second line technical support to users via phone, email and on site

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops and servers

Install, configure and maintain operating systems, applications and IT infrastructure
-
Support network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls and wireless systems
-
Manage user accounts, permissions and access within Active Directory and associated platforms
-
Monitor system performance and carry out routine maintenance and updates
-
Accurately document incidents, issues and resolutions
-
Assist with IT projects, system deployments and upgrades
-
Support the research and development of new services and technical solutions

Work with Microsoft 365 technologies including Azure, Entra and Intune
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
-
Proven experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment
-
Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
-
Hands-on experience supporting Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft 365 environments

Good understanding of networking fundamentals and IT troubleshooting
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

Right to live and work in the UK
Desirable:

Experience supporting multi-site environments
-
Exposure to Intune device management and cloud-based infrastructure

Experience assisting with IT projects and system rollouts
