Hydraulic Supervisor
JMC Aviation are working with an aviation manufacturer based in Harlow, looking to recruit a new Hydraulic Supervisor to join their team.
This is a family‑run business with multiple decades of experience, striving for excellence across their skilled workforce as they deliver in‑house engineering and support services on business jets and wider aerospace components.
This is a Permanent Position based in Southend. Working Monday–Friday, 08:00- 16:30.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing, repairs, and overhauls of various hydraulic aviation components according to original manufacturer manuals and instructions.
- Ensure all quality standards and procedures are strictly observed and maintained.
- Establish and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment.
- Prepare detailed workshop reports and material reviews to support accurate customer estimates for the purchasing and commercial departments.
- Aid in developing new capabilities and researching improved methods to save costs and reduce turn-time.
- Undertake comprehensive risk assessments and ensure all safety requirements are met.
- Understand and exceed customer needs and expectations at all times.
Candidate Requirements
- Understanding of EASA Pt 145 regulatory requirements for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components.
- Essential background in a hydraulic aviation environment, with a preference for previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience using both Skydrol and hydraulic oil rigs.
- Good understanding of MS Office and business systems and procedures.
- Ability to interpret manuals and accurately record inspection findings.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with a collaborative approach.
- Must be highly safety-conscious with a keen attention to detail.
