Role Conditions
- Working 25 hours per week (5 hours per day), although some flexibility will be required
- Annual leave entitlement + bank holidays
- 20 paid sick days (full time, part time will be calculated pro rata)
- 8% employer/4% employee pension contributions
- Flights tickets after probation and discounted tickets on affiliated airlines
About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Flight Supervisor to support their ground handling and passenger service activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all ground handling and passenger service operations rendered by the airport and handling agents
- Work in accordance with Company and Ground Operations procedures and policies
- Ensure the highest standard of passenger service level is kept at all times
- Resolve complex issues promptly and professionally
- Handling incapacitated and reduced mobility passengers with exceptional sensitivity
- Ensure full cooperation with Operational Control Centre
- Verify and countersign all load sheets before presenting to the Captain
- Supply handling agent with all necessary instructions/information to guarantee proper handling of ELAL flights according company procedures
- Ensure full acquaintance with loading procedures for all aircraft including cargo
- Aircraft weight and balance licence an advantage
- Ensure sufficient staff availability and performance standards of interior aircraft cleaners
- Administrative and ad-hoc duties
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in the same role or similar
- Previous aviation knowledge and experience is an advantage (however this role is ideal for a candidate who wants to start a career in ground operations)
- Positive, service-oriented approach and great ability to resolve problems
- Full driving licence is mandatory
- Right to work in the UK
