About the Role
On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Compliance Monitoring Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuously reviewing and ensuring compliance in line with regulatory requirements and procedures across all company approvals and approved/new provider locations
- Management of the Organisation Approvals
- Line management of Compliance Department personnel
- Development of the Compliance Monitoring Programme and system, including its implementation
- Scoping, preparing, conducting and completing independent audits or inspections to ensure regulatory compliance, both internally and externally
- Assisting with the hosting of Authority and Customer audits
- Maintaining competence and knowledge in relation to the applicable regulatory requirements
- Manager the approved supplier list and assess Sub-Contractors
- Oversee Certifying Staff and Support Staff Authorisations in accordance with the regulation
- Provide periodic reports of the Compliance system to the accountable manager
- Document Management System Management and oversight
Candidate Requirements
- Valid/previously held Part-66 AML, aeronautical engineering degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or 10 years’ experience in an aircraft maintenance/airworthiness environment
- Ability to hold UK/EASA Part-145 and Part-CAMO Nominated Person (Form 4) roles
- Technical knowledge of aircraft types, B737, A340 and/or similar
- Comprehensive understanding of Part-145 and Part-CAMO regulatory requirements
- Awareness of Part-66 and air ops requirements
- Formal training in quality systems and compliance monitoring
- Safety management and data analysis skills
- Ability to occasional travel required
- Right to work in the UK
