About the Role
JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to support aircraft maintenance operations in Bermuda. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a unique island location while contributing to high-quality engineering standards within a professional aviation environment.
Role Conditions
- Contract Length: 6 months (possible extension)
- Shift Pattern: 60 hours per week – 6 on / 1 off or 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
- Hours: 06:00–16:00 / 20:00–06:00
- Flights: Economy flights provided
- Accommodation: Shared waterfront company house, 5 minutes from the airport
- Transport: Electric vehicle provided
- Permits: Temporary work permit arranged
- Extras: Staff travel for engineer and family on airline network
- Airside Passes: Fully covered
Key Responsibilities
- Certify maintenance tasks in accordance with Part-145 regulations
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Embraer 175/190 aircraft
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs to ensure aircraft safety and reliability
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and maintenance data
- Ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and safety standards
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Valid B1 Aircraft Maintenance Licence with Embraer 175/190 type rating (CAA or EASA)
- Recent, demonstrable experience on E-Jet aircraft
- Strong knowledge of aviation safety and compliance requirements
- Ability to work flexible shifts
Desirable:
- Previous base or line maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
