About the Role
JMC Aviation is recruiting 5 Avionic Technicians (including 1 Italian-speaking technician) to support retrofit line activities on ATR or C27J aircraft at Caselle in Turin, Italy.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a high-quality aerospace environment on turboprop aircraft within a structured production setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform avionics and electrical installation work on ATR or C27J retrofit lines
- Electrical loom installation
- Installing connectors
- Crimping
- Pin-to-pin testing
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions
- Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
- Maintain safe and clean working practices
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 4 years of avionics/electrical experience in an aerospace environment
- Experience working on C27J, ATR, C130, or other turboprop aircraft
- English or Italian language skills
- Right to work in the EU
- Strong knowledge of electrical loom installation, connectors, crimping, and pin-to-pin testing
Desirable:
- Candidates with extensive experience on other commercial aircraft types may also be considered
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work to high aerospace standards
Assessment
Candidates may be asked to complete the Electrical Fitter questionnaire to assess knowledge of electrical loom installation, connector installation, crimping techniques, and pin-to-pin testing.
