About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician with hands-on experience working on De Havilland Dash 8 series, Q400, and CL-series (CL-215/415) aircraft. The ideal candidate has a strong background in troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and inspecting avionics systems on regional and special-mission aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on avionics and electrical systems for Dash 8, Q400, and CL-series aircraft.

Conduct installations, modifications, and upgrades of avionics components (e.g., Comm/Nav systems, autopilot, FMS, ADS-B, TCAS, wiring harnesses).

Execute work in accordance with wiring diagrams, AMMs, EOs, service bulletins, and schematics.

Assist with heavy maintenance checks, system testing, and functional checks.

Complete accurate and clear documentation for all avionics maintenance and repairs.

Work collaboratively with AMEs, structures technicians, and engineering to ensure aircraft readiness.

Maintain strict adherence to Transport Canada standards, OEM procedures, and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements:

3–5 years of avionics maintenance experience, ideally on Dash 8/Q400 or CL-series aircraft.

Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting tools, and avionics test equipment.

Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, AMMs, and component manuals.

Experience performing avionics work during heavy checks, line maintenance, and modification projects.

Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Flexibility to work shift work, weekends, and overtime as required.

High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in team environments.
