We are seeking an experienced and motivated M2-licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or FAA-certified A&P Mechanic to join our maintenance operations in Winnipeg (YWG). The successful candidate will be responsible for performing, inspecting, and certifying maintenance activities on Boeing 757 aircraft.
This position requires a B757 type endorsement or rating (or equivalent manufacturer training) and hands-on experience maintaining transport-category aircraft. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and thrives in a dynamic, team-driven environment supporting line maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, repairs, and modifications on Boeing 757 aircraft.

Troubleshoot, rectify, and document mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system defects.

Conduct inspections and complete all maintenance documentation accurately in accordance with Transport Canada or FAA regulations.

Certify work performed within the scope of M2 or A&P license and company authorizations.

Ensure adherence to CARs, MEL/CDL, and approved maintenance data at all times.

Support AOG recovery and field maintenance activities when required.

Mentor apprentices, ensuring adherence to company safety and quality standards.

Collaborate effectively with Maintenance Control, Quality Assurance, and Engineering teams.
Qualifications & Requirements

Valid Transport Canada AME License – Category M2 or valid FAA A&P Certificate.

Type endorsement or training on Boeing 757 required (proof must be provided).

Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience on large transport-category aircraft.

Solid understanding of CARs, FAA Part 145, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).

Proven troubleshooting and analytical abilities.

Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.

Must be able to obtain RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card) and Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Preferred Assets

Additional experience on Boeing 737, 767, or A320 aircraft.

Familiarity with AMOS, TRAX, or similar maintenance software.

Prior experience in an MRO or line maintenance environment.
