About the Role
We are seeking an experienced M2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our maintenance team in Vancouver (YVR). The successful candidate will perform and certify maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on Boeing 737 (Classic, NG, MAX) and/or Airbus A330 aircraft. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with Transport Canada (CARs) regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, modifications, and repairs on B737 and A330 aircraft.

Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical discrepancies.

Ensure all maintenance documentation and certification are completed accurately and in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and junior technicians.

Support line maintenance and AOG recovery operations as needed.

Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and quality control procedures.

Communicate effectively with Maintenance Control, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements

Valid Transport Canada AME License – Category M2.

Endorsement and/or significant experience on Boeing 737 (Classic, NG, or MAX) and/or Airbus A330 aircraft required.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant heavy or line maintenance experience.

Demonstrated ability to interpret and use aircraft maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogs, and wiring diagrams.

Proven knowledge of CARs (Canadian Aviation Regulations) and Safety Management Systems (SMS).

Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and able to obtain airport security clearance (RAIC).
Preferred Assets
-
Endorsements or experience on other large transport-category aircraft (e.g., B767, A320 family).

Experience working with AMOS, TRAX, or other maintenance tracking systems.

Prior experience in a Part 145 AMO or airline environment.

Valid Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP) is an asset.
