JMC Aviation is working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Chester, looking to recruit a new Aircraft Maintenance Planner to join their team.

This is a Permanent Position based in Chester, UK.
 
Monday to Friday, working 08:00 to 16:30.

The Role
 
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out maintenance and operational planning functions in addition to the build of aircraft work packages and associated documentation.
 
Other Duties Involve
 
– Meet the requirements of internal company and customer established procedures IAW with regulatory requirements, to support departmental objectives
– Act as the point of contact for all maintenance planning, technical support and customer functions
– Act as interface/liaison between the customer and operational departments
– Provision of planning and technical support at pre-inputs, during and post-maintenance
– Chairing input related to meetings including pre-input, daily stand-ups, progress reports and post inspection review meetings
– Determination of input downtimes in conjunction with operations and sales departments
– Supporting the sales department and technical estimators as required
– Uploading customer tasks to work packs
– Creation of aircraft input project plans
– Detailed review of work content including the identification of complex tasks, safety critical tasks and the production of work pack summaries
– Identification of work requiring the services of outside agencies or sub-contractors
– Oversight and management of regulatory maintenance data
 
In order to be successful in this role the Aircraft Maintenance Planner will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
 
– Multiple years working in an aircraft maintenance background
– Experience in using aircraft technical and internal documentation
– Strong understanding of Part 145 regulation, including but not limited to UKCAA, EASA, FAA etc.
– Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point and Word to enable the production of project plans, databases and reports
– Awareness of SMS
– Right to live and work in the UK
