An exciting internal opportunity has arisen within the JMC Aviation, the world’s leading Aviation recruitment business.

Based in Exeter, we are now seeking a Global Engineering Workforce Manager to join us to manage an effective, efficient and compliant process for recruitment, deployment and on-going management of sponsored workers deployed to our project teams. The Global Engineering Workforce Manager will manage the team responsible for the sourcing and management of our global engineering workforce across the business.

– Competitive basic salary of £35,000- £40,000 – with an earning potential of up to £52,295 (inclusive of the annual bonus, following successful completion of your Probationary Period)

– Full time hours (8.30am – 5.30pm/9.00am – 6.00pm)

Global Engineering Workforce Manager’s Main Duties:

– Responsible for the sourcing and deployment of sponsored workers within our project teams (currently teams are deployed to UK and Malta)

– Identify suitable international locations to recruit sponsored workers for project teams

– Research and manage compliant processes for deployment of project teams into new global locations

– Manage efficient and effective processes throughout the department to ensure compliance with all relevant immigration and industry requirements as well as successful deployment to project teams

– Customer liaison for managing deployment of project teams

– In partnership with on-site support teams ensure on-going project delivery against agreed contracts

– Negotiate contract extensions with customer

– Management of GEW team to monitor progress of sponsored workers through pre-deployment phase, including all relevant testing and visas

– Management of relationships with international recruitment partners and immigration advisors

– Management of processes to ensure on-going monitoring of sponsored workers in conjunction with relevant immigration requirements

– Liaise with internal departments to ensure successful delivery and on-going management of contracts

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Person Specification:

– Proven experience of process management

– Previous management/supervisory experience

– Ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of UKVI Skilled Worker processes and legislation surrounding this (desired)

– Delivery and customer focused

– Strong administration and organisational skills

– Strong communication skills

– Being able to work to tight deadlines

– Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work

– Ability to motivate a team

– Ability to convey information accurately, clearly and in a manner easily understood

– Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems
