The position of Administrative and Payroll Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and payroll support within the company. The position will work closely with the Recruitment Team to ensure a high quality of administration and compliancy is maintained throughout.

An Administrative and Payroll Assistant’s Main Duties Include:

– Responsible for producing, distributing and uploading contractor contracts, ensuring all documentation sent is accurate and professional
– Sending out reference requests for new starters and chase outstanding requests
– Loading relevant documentation onto recruitment software ensuring correct priority is given  as advised by the Recruitment Team
– Undertake compliance searches for all candidates, chasing for outstanding documentation, updating the compliance tab as necessary ensuring attention to detail
– Undertake compliance searches for expiring documents for placed contractors, sending reminders to all contractors concerning documents which are due to expire and ensuring efficient communication with the Recruitment Teams
– Booking flights and travel requests for staff and contractors ensuring close communication to avoid potential problems
– Processing of workwear requirements for JMC Aviation client base as appropriate
– Deal with telephone calls and emails efficiently and in a polite manner
– Assisting Recruitment Team with general administrative duties
– Upholding the JMC Aviation brand and values
– Assisting Recruitment Team with general administrative duties
– To maintain and input payroll information in a precise and accurate manner
– Provide payroll advice and information
– Advise employees, contractors and managers on payroll issues
– Check and process expense claims
– Assist in running an efficient and effective payroll service

Essential:

– Strong administration and good organizational skills
– Excellent communication skills
– The ability to prioritize and adapt work tasks to meet conflicting deadlines and respond to changing situations
– Attention to detail is essential
– Able to work well within a team whilst also using own initiative
– High level of numeracy and ability to deal accurately with calculations of a complex nature
– Ability to pay attention to details and be accurate
– Excellent Customer Service
– Flexibility within the role
– Experience working within a busy office environment
– Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems
– Experience with preparing Contractual documents
– Previous experience in a similar position

Qualifications:

Educated to high school degree or equivalent
